Falling Into the Season of Color

I meant that.  Even though the cool wet is starting the dormancy and die back in some plants, there is plenty of color popping out all over.

This summer was becoming colorless as the heat cooked everything into a beige mass.  Come September and the cooling rains, Port Townsend, Jefferson County, the Olympic Peninsula and the Pacific NW in general started coloring up again.

I don’t have a lot to say, but I wanted to share with you the colors of the Garden Center.  I am amazed at how much is still blooming.

Even more I am amazed at just how many differently colored Heuchera’s there are.
